Meet the Team

Dr. Tassos Sfondouris was born and raised in Annapolis, MD, and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Clemson University. He went on to attend the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2007 as well as his Specialty Certificate in Periodontics and Dental Implants in 2010. Following the completion of his Periodontal specialty program, he completed a 2-year fellowship training program in “Implants, Periodontics, and Prosthodontics.” This advanced dental training focused on simple to complex restorative procedures such as single to full arch fixed and removable prosthetics, as well as cosmetic dental procedures.

Dr. Prestipino has recently retired after 45 incredible years of private dental practice and research. We celebrate this new chapter of his life and wish him all the best!

Dr. Prestipino received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and his post-doctoral certificate in Prosthodontics at New York University School of Dentistry. He had held a position as an Assistant Clinical Professor at New York University and he was an Associate Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Maryland School Of Dentistry. Dr. Prestipino has lectured nationally and internationally on esthetic and implant dentistry and actively contributes to postgraduate education. He has also developed and patented more than 7 patents in Dentistry.
