Dear Valued Patients
Privileged to Serve You for 45 Years
It is with mixed emotions that I announce my retirement after 45 incredible years of private dental practice and research. Since 1979, it has been my profound privilege to serve you and be part of your dental journey. The trust and support you have shown me throughout these years have been nothing short of remarkable.
From the beginning of my practice, my aim was to provide the highest level of care and to make a positive impact on your lives. Together, we have shared many milestones—restoring smiles, improving oral health, and enhancing overall well-being. The relationships we've built are more than just professional; they are personal and meaningful to me.
I am deeply grateful for your unwavering trust and loyalty. It has been an honor to witness your lives, and the lives of your families evolve over the years. Your confidence in my care has been the driving force behind my dedication and passion for dentistry.
Dr. Tasso Sfondouris: Excellence and Expertise
Many of you have met Dr. Tassos Sfondouris and have experienced that his rapport is genuine and immediately calming. I met Dr. Sfondouris 10 years ago after the unexpected passing of my late partner and mentor, Dr. Abe Ingber. Dr. Sfondouris demonstrates the highest levels of clinical skills and professional education. I spent the last 10 years getting to know him on a professional and personal level. We have worked collaboratively during these years and I have personally witnessed his high level of training and successful management of our patients. He graduated from dental school in 2007, was a clinical Associate Professor of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and has attained Fellowship status in one of the most prestigious, invitation only, prosthodontic academies, The Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics. Furthermore, he continues to advance his education by regularly attending continuing education courses taught by masters in our field.
Dr. Sfondouris has been with our practice since 2014 and has been an equal partner for the last 2 years. He resides in the Bethesda area with his wife and three children.
The practice continues to expand its level of expertise and accomplishment in periodontal, implant and reconstructive (prosthetic) dentistry, with full commitment to incorporating the latest research, development and innovation into the treatment of patients.
A New Chapter
As I embark on this new chapter of my life in retirement with Tammy and my three daughters, their husbands, and our first grandson (with hopefully more to come), I look forward to cherished memories of our time together.
I am confident that the practice will continue to thrive under the capable hands of my successor, who shares the same commitment to excellence and patient care.
Thank you for the incredible journey and for allowing me to be a part of your lives. I wish you all continued health, happiness, and beautiful smiles.
With deepest gratitude,
Vince Prestipino, D.D.S.
